With an annual draw of more than a million visitors, this National Natural Landmark is the state's most popular state park. There are facilities for education, camping, hiking, cycling, picnicking, fishing, boating, crabbing, and swimming. There's also a camp store and laundry facilities. Built in the early 1930's, the park is noted for being the northernmost point on the East Coast where temperate and subtropical plants flourish together. Handicap accessibility. Camping is permitted, and cabin rentals are available.
